Roy Smith Shelter House

Located in Fred Fuller Park at 601 Middlebury Road, this enclosed shelter house seats up to 60 people (8 8-foot tables and 60 chairs). The facility includes a refrigerator, countertop, sink, tables, chairs, restrooms, and air conditioning and heating. The shelter house does not have public Wi-Fi. Both the oven and microwave have been removed from the shelter house. This facility is the host site for Kent Parks & Recreation's Lil' Learners Preschool and Summer Camp. The shelter house is often rented out well in advance for birthday parties, grad parties, meetings, baby showers, and more.

Weekdays (Monday – Friday; 3:30 – 11 PM): $75 Resident / $100 Non-resident

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday; 10 AM – 11 PM): $100 Resident / $125 Non-resident
