In order to comply with stipulation V. (Public Involvement and Participation) of the Programmatic Agreement between the City of Kent and the State Historic Preservation Office, the City of Kent is publishing the 2024 HUD Programmatic Agreement Report to fulfil the citizen participation procedural requirement.  These documents are available for viewing at the Community Development Department, 930 Overholt Road, Kent, OH, M-Th between 8 and 4, with the exception of Federal Holidays when the office will be closed.

Positions are open for childcare staff at the Kent Parks and Rec KPR Kidz Club. Staff will help out at before and/or after school programs Monday to Friday at Davey Elementary and the Kent Rec Center. The position includes paid training and an hourly rate of $12-$16 per hour.
