Filming in Kent

Thank you for your interest in filming in Kent. Kent is a great mix of historic buildings, modern architecture, and one of Ohio’s largest universities.  No matter what scenery you’re looking for Kent experiences all four seasons.

Fees will depend on the type and scope of filming requested. Please see the Kent Film Regulations for fee structure.

Please submit one of the following: 

1. Complete and submit the Online Kent Film Permit Application.
2. Or print, complete, and sign the Kent Film Permit Application (PDF) and email to longp@kent-ohio.org or return to the City Manager’s Office at 301 S. Depeyster St., Kent, OH 44240.
