Lil’ Learners Preschool Summer Camp

TIME: Monday-Thursday from 9:00-12:30
LOCATION: Roy H. Smith Shelterhouse (601 Middlebury Rd.)
LENGTH: 8 Weeks (6/10-8/8 closed 6/19 & week of 7/1)
AGE: 3-5 year olds
WEEKLY RATE: $70 Residents/$80 Non-residents
REGISTRATION FEE: $10
MAXIMUM: 24

Your preschooler will have the opportunity to play in Fred Fuller Park, walk the Hike and Bike Trail, create arts and crafts, sing songs, read stories and make their first friendships each week this summer!

Welcome to the 2-24 KPR Lil' Learners Preschool Summer Camp! We are looking forward to a safe and fun filled summer experience for you and your child.
Important things to remember
  1. Your Five Star account must be created or updated before the first day of camp.
  2. Doors open at 8:55AM and camp starts at 9AM. Please use the side door of the Shelter to enter and exit with your child. Please pick up promptly by 12:30PM.
  3. If your child is going to be absent from camp, please call the KPR main office at 330.673.8897 or the site cell phone at 330.235.4247.
  4. Parents/guardians are required to sign their child/children in and out each day.
  5. Supplies needed (please label everything)
    1. Backpack
    2. A complete change of clothing (including undergarment)
    3. Hat for sunny/hot days
    4. Water bottle
    5. Closed toe shoes
  6. All children must be potty trained. 
  7. The children will be playing outside daily (weather permitting). It is recommended that your child wear comfortable clothing. Tennis shoes are preferred, but closed toe shoes with straps are permitted. No flip flops.

Camp Schedule

8:55-9 Campers arrive and wash hands
9-9:15  Free play
9:15-9:30  Clean up and campers divided into age groups
9:30-12 

Camp activities: Art, Music, Outside play/hiking, Snack time, and/or Environmental education

12-12:30 Story time/ quiet play/ prepare for departure
